Connecting via DINET

ODEX Enterprise

1)      Add a new DINET mailbox for JLR with the SFID O927153228JLR
2)      Update any workflows sending messages to, or extracting messages from, JLR.
3)      Update Virtual Filenames.
 
The steps to follow are:

Adding a new DINET Mailbox – 

1)      In ODEX Enterprise Administrator, Comms tab, expand Clearing Centre Networks and click on DINET.
2)      On the right of the screen, choose the Mailboxes tab and click the Add button.
3)      In the Details screen, enter a name, (e.g. JLR) the SFID O927153228JLR, then click OK and save.

Updating Workflows – 
 

1)      To access your workflows and related entries, use ODEX Enterprise Administrator, Workflows tab.
2)      The entries in this section will have been used to customise ODEX Enterprise for your own purposes, so will vary from system to system. If you are not sure what changes you need to make, please contact Support.

Updating Virtual Filenames

1) Follow instructions here.

DARWIN FE

In order to trade with JLR you will need to purchase the full edition of DARWIN.  For existing customers we have put in place a discounted price.

DARWIN - Full Edition

1)      Upgrade to the latest release of DARWIN. 
2)      Install the new DINET profile pack
3)      Install the new JLR profile pack

4)      Add your existing Ford supplier code for use with JLR.
5)      Update Virtual Filenames.
 
The steps to follow are:

Installing Profile Packs – 

1)      Download both Profile Packs
2)      Copy them to your DARWIN Profile Packs folder – default location C:\Program Files\DIP\Darwin3\<version>\Profile Packs on your DARWIN Server computer.
3)      In DARWIN Administrator, System Admin tab, Profile Packs, click on the Browse button and navigate to the above folder and click on DINET.dpp, click the Open button and then click the Yes button on the confirmation dialogue box.
4)      Repeat the above process selecting the JLR.dpp profile pack.

Adding a Supplier Code –
 

1)      In DARWIN Administrator, Business Admin tab, expand Suppliers and select your supplier location.
2)      Click on the Supplier Codes tab and note your Ford Supplier Code. Click the Add button, select Jaguar Land Rover as the Customer, leave the Seller field and enter the Supplier Code you have noted in the Code field. Click OK, then click Save.
