Data Interchange attends annual exhibition in Värnamo, Sweden

March 2009 - At the beginning of March, representatives of DI attended the Logistics & ERP Systems exhibition, which takes place annually in the town of Värnamo in Sweden. Värnamo is situated in a region that holds a large number of small and medium-sized manufacturing industries. Consequently many of the companies are suppliers to the OEMs.

The event is a combined exhibition and seminar, to which keynote speakers are invited every year (this year from LINDAB and from various universities). The exhibitors are divided into three categories: Gold, Silver and Bronze. DI International participated as Silver Partners this year, having been Bronze Partners last year.

All visitors are asked to complete a questionnaire when they arrive, telling the organizers which speaking slots they intend to attend. The organizers then summarize and distribute the conference rooms to the Partners according to how many have registered for each speaking slot.

Amongst the Silver Partners DI International received the most entries, so DI was given the main auditorium for our talk. About 30 people attended and the talk went well. The subject was "An introduction to EDI" and was meant to teach people about the concept of EDI. The final slide showed DI Sweden's latest advertisement, which promotes "EDI 4 Free".

We had a good exhibition all in all, our stand was well visited, and we received a significant number of leads.
