EPIC Minimum Requirements

Hardware

Recommended server specification:

• 1 GB RAM (2 GB for Windows Vista)
• 2 GB of HD space (plus additional storage for data)
• 2 GHz CPU or higher recommended

Although the clients and server can be installed on one machine, typically, satellite machines will have clients installed that connect to the EPIC server.

For communications, one of the following is required:

• CAPI 2-compliant ISDN card/router
• XOT-capable router
• Internet connection (Permanent connection required for AS2)

Operating Systems

32-bit and 64-bit versions of the following:

• Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2
• Windows Server 2008
• Windows Vista
• Windows Vista Service Pack 1
• Windows XP Service Pack 2
• Windows XP Service Pack 3

Software

• Windows installer 4.5 (installed by EPIC)
• SQL Server 2008 (Express edition installed by EPIC)
• .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (not installed by EPIC but can be downloaded from here)
