Overview

ODEX/400 is designed for use by all types of organisations whose IT systems are based on an AS400 and who require a highly robust system to perform their communications functions. ODEX/400 is particularly suitable for organisations requiring a corporate gateway solution to deliver communications capability to their ERP/MRP system.

ODEX/400 conforms to the ODETTE File Transfer Protocol (OFTP).

ODEX/400 can be integrated with any ERP/MRP system to provide a robust and efficient communications capability. Using X.25, ISDN or TCP/IP communications, ODEX/400 can make and receive calls automatically at any time of day. Received files and day-to-day tasks can be managed either manually, under menu control, or automatically in batch mode.
