ODEX/MVS is designed for use by all types of organisations whose IT systems are based on an IBM mainframe and who require a highly robust system to perform their communications functions. ODEX/MVS is particularly suitable for organisations requiring a corporate gateway solution to deliver communications capability to their ERP/MRP system.
ODEX/MVS conforms to the ODETTE File Transfer Protocol (OFTP).
ODEX/MVS provides full store-and-forward facilities as part of a corporate or commercial, clearing centre.
ODEX/MVS runs as a Started Task, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The scheduling and retrieval of EDI data is done in parallel with the transmission / reception of data.
