What happens when I apply for a COMCERT certificate?
For a first-time applicant, the COMCERT website will ask you to provide your personal details. These will then be stored securely to be used for future applications and certificate renewals. You will also be asked what type of certificate you want to purchase (OFTP2 or AS2, personal, departmental or Server-specific).
Once you have completed your application, we will check that the information you have given is valid, and that you are authorised to make the application. When all checks have been completed successfully, we will send you an email to say that the certificate is now available to download.
How do I apply for a COMCERT digital certificate?
Go to the COMCERT website at https://www.comcertca.com and order a certificate on-line. The application process is quick and easy. An annual certificate costs only £160.
