How to run ODEX without making a user a member of the Power User group on the local machine.

To allow users to run ODEX without making them part of the Power user group, please follow these steps:

  • Navigate to "C:\Program Files\DIP\" (or the relevant installation directory)
  • Right click on this folder -> select Properties -> select Security
  • Add either the individual users or "everyone" and give them the 'Full Control' permission

This means they will be able to read and write files to this directory (and sub-directories).
