First you need to ensure that the mailserver allows internal relaying from the IP address of the ODEX machine.
If that is the case, please follow the steps below:
- Within the ODEX Administrator, select the System tab.
- Select 'System Settings', then select the 'E-mail' tab.

- Enter either the DNS name or IP Address of your SMTP server, then press the 'Send Test E-mail' button. This will ensure that ODEX is able to communicate with your SMTP E-mail server.
- Now, within the Workflow tab, you can add the 'E-mail' job to any of your workflows.
