More Information:

First, take a backup of the BACS.IP database using the BACS.IP Database Backup utility. This can be found by selecting "Start -> Programs -> Data Interchange Plc -> BACS.IP x.x.x -> BACS.IP Database Backup" from the Windows Start Menu.
Alternatively you can navigate to the BACS.IP installation directory (by default "C:\Program Files\DIP\BACS.IP\x.x.x.xxx\") and run the "SQLBackup.exe".

Once you have a database backup, install BACS.IP Enterprise on the new machine.
As part of this process you will be asked where you wish to install the BACS.IP Database. Accept the default.
The BACS.IP Server will start as soon as the installation is complete.
Start the BACS.IP Administrator. You will be prompted for your BACS.IP Serial Number and Licence code. Enter these into the system.

Once you have done this, close the BACS.IP Administrator and shutdown the BACS.IP Server application.
Now copy all of the sub-folders from your current BACS.IP installation folder to the new machine.
On the new system you can now restore the database backup that you have taken. This is done using the same BACS.IP Database Backup utility, but this time select the "Restore" option.

Finally, if your BACS.IP is referencing any local folders which you have set-up on the old system, please ensure that these are all available.
You can now start the BACS.IP Server application on the new machine, which will include all of the file history etc that is in the old system.

N.B. Before any smart cards can be used, the signing solution provided by the sponsoring bank will need to be installed on the new machine.
