The most common cause for this kind of problem is that the System User has been set up with the wrong Certificate. To check this, follow the steps below.
- Open the BACS.IP Administrator and select the 'System Users' menu item.
- Double left mouse click on the entry for the user in question.
- Ensure the correct SmartCard is inserted in the card reader and the green light is on.
- Press the 'Select' button.
- You should now highlight the 'Identity' certificate and press OK.
- Save the changes to the System User profile.
The System User should now be able to sign the submission within the Submissions Client.
